★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appalling Customer Service. Bought some sleepers from them one broke before use. Took back to replace while supposedly helping me, left to help someone else. Left waiting 10 mins while she attended to person who perhaps was going to spend money. Due to delay had to leave without result. Went back yesterday and the same thing happened this time only longer waiting 15 mins while she did the same thing. When I noted I was first and no one else in shop when i arrived allowing me time to talk about options to replacement etc. I had to leave after 17 mins of waiting. I will never go back to this place because of this experience. It seemed to me only interested in chasing the tourist dollar!

My wife and I went in to Rowena's shop because there were some decent stones in the display and we were potential interested in what she may have for sale (set or not). She asked if we were jewellers which we mentioned being hobbyist, but hadn't crafted in a couple years and are more stone collectors. We tried talking stones with her and she didn't really engage, which is strange for jewelers who are typically passionate on the topic. She then asked her staff to go on lunch. Once we were alone in the shop, she got angry making accusations that we were trying to "steal her designs" and hurting her business, followed by kicking us out and locking the door behind us. When I stood at the door and asked her why we were being kicked out, she came up with a variety of excuses, based on who she assumed we were and what we were trying to do. At the end of the day, she was simply discriminating against us and making an excuse to kick us out. We will continue to give our money to the other jewellers in the area that actually have passion for the craft and are more friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a proper bead shop. Lots of different styles of beads to choose from as well as jewelry that is already handmade. The owner is really nice and knows a lot about handicrafts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called in to purchase a silver necklace and bracelet that we had spotted in the window a couple of nights ago but were informed we were required to be vaccinated, well we are and we showed the assistant our passes but as it is not a legal requirement to have this instore policy I feel the store is discriminating so will not make this purchase or any future purchases.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bracelet made from Swarovski element crystals each linked individually, one of the crystals need gluing back into setting and once done the crystal was dull and grey. I was charged for this and told it was a reaction with the glue and backing of the crystal. I went back to them as I could not wear it and they offered to remove the damaged crystal, I was charged a further fee for this fix up. I would not return to this business for jewellery repairs.
Owner got in touch 12/04/22 as promised and apologised offing to refund cost of repair which was much appreciated
