★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute waste of time and money. Don’t come here unless you want to wait over 35 minutes for a drink. We gave them a second chance by ordering another round as our first round was delivered only to wait even longer. We made a complaint and said if your drinks are going to take that long you need to tell people as we would have never ordered another round and then we wouldn’t have been so annoyed. We were met with well there’s only 1 bartender. Not sure why the other 4 staff members couldn’t help as it wasn’t busy and they weren’t doing a whole lot else?! But don’t worry, they said they had sorted some of the bill for the inconvenience ( which always makes me give a place another chance when they resolve a issue ). A whopping $7 off the $150 bill. So generous. Will definitely never go back. However the whiskey bar down the road - the last word. Were amazing, fantastic service & 4 martini’s were at our table within 8 minutes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bar on New regent Street, the best street in Christchurch!!! Does amazing gin cocktails as well as great selection of wine.
Food is AMAZING!! Had the cheese platter, fresh warm bread with the perfect accompany chutney and pickled onion side. Staff are super friendly, Def recommend this bar for drink or dinner

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere and drinks. Been here twice in two weeks while in Christchurch for work. Nosing the reviews from others - they were quite accurate. Most staff members were great, others have an air of superiority as if it was a privilege to be in the establishment…. I suggest management communicate this as your customers are the ones paying your wages. Also found the cocktails are quite good value compared to the surrounding places - strong and good quality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here with a friend for my birthday treat. Had a fantastic night. Fantastic sounding cocktail list and even though I was a little thrown by the unfamiliar gins and liqueurs, I absolutely loved the cocktails the very knowledgeable staff member suggested. There are wines and other drinks available as well but, l'd thoroughly recommend a cocktail tasting evening here to any gin lovers. The food was great, just different enough to be interesting and tempting without being pretentious. A few vegan options for those that require it and an outstanding vegan dessert that l will definitely be ordering again. Good ambience and good service as well. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Will definitely be back, the cocktail menu and l have some unfinished business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK this place is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! I honestly cannot believe that this place exists! It is focused on Gin, which I love and it showcases Canterburys own 'curiosity' gin, which is divine and is produced in a micro batches. I have found this out as I sent a bottle as a gift to my friend who loved the gin and is in fact not a gin drinker, it was her birthday!!? The staff were adorable and fun, this is definatley my favourite bar in chc and I recommend to everyone that they go and check it out, you will not be disappointed! I cannot emphasise enough how great the staff were and they made our night out even better!! Thanks guys and see y'all soon!! Oooh and try the sherbet cocktail, I want one now!! ❤️

Also a fantastic range of gins from around nz if you prefer your gin more on its own. There's setting outside which is great for summer but inside is also just such an amazing vibe.
