★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude, paranoid, and hostile owner. My wife and I went in because there were some decent stones in the display and we were potential interested in what she may have for sale (set or not). She asked if we were jewellers which we mentioned being hobbyist, but hadn't crafted in a couple years and are more stone collectors. We tried talking stones with her and she didn't really engage, which is strange for jewelers who are typically passionate on the topic. She then asked her staff to go on lunch. Once we were alone in the shop, she got angry making accusations that we were trying to "steal her designs" and hurting her business, followed by kicking us out and locking the door behind us. When I stood at the door and asked her why we were being kicked out, she came up with a variety of excuses, based on who she assumed we were and what we were trying to do. At the end of the day, she was simply discriminating against us and making an excuse to kick us out. We will continue to give our money to the other jewelers in the area that actually have passion for the craft and are more friendly.

Stunning pieces, many of which i have purchased over many years... i love the sparkle of the shop (especially in Winter) and beauty of Rowena's jewellery; the different designs; and the fact you can spend a little or a lot. A great place for gifts...for oneself and for friends and family. Thoroughly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to thank the team at Rowena Watson Jewellers so much for the care and talent they put into designing a beautiful necklace from fossilised shark teeth my husband found on the Chatham Islands. The design process was easy and the resulting necklace will be a family heirloom as some of the grandkids have already called "dibs" on it for the future. LOL

I brought in a precious opal and diamond brooch of my grandmother's and Rowena has turned it in to two absolutely stunning rings that I'm absolutely thrilled with. The whole process was super easy, very fairly priced and I received the finished rings much quicker than I had anticipated. Very happy.
