β β β β β Disappointed with the response from the centre. Called to enquire if there is a spot available for enrollment was told there was one, checked it out the very next day and submitted the form asap was said no spots available. Called to enquire about the wait list status and no one returned the call. Just disappointed with the service though the daycare seemed really good.

β β β β β Bear Park is an excellent day care centre. Its philosophy is based on the Emilio Romagna principle of self empowerment. This has been married with the Mauri Te WhΔriki philosophy of being a valued member of society who contributes responsibly. That aside art is at the heart of most of what goes on here; "express yourself" could be the motto. The staff are friendly and well trained and they look after the young denizens well. The food is fantastic with super organic meals made onsight. Based in one of Aucklands historic houses, there are fishes, rabbits and even a piano (dire need of a tuning). This is a great place for any child to learn, grow and become so much more. They really help the children make that big transition into school.

β β β β β Bear Park Patey Street is a wonderful learning environment with all sorts of exciting things to experiment with and explore. How the teachers manage to keep the centre so well organised and tidy is beyond me! Most importantly (from my perspective) my child feels safe and respected, and her development since starting at Bear Park as a 2 year old has been stark. The teachers are caring and attentive and I am confident that my child's needs are being met. Bear Park is absolutely the right choice for us and, although having previously been convinced that a nanny was the best option for an infant, I have had no hesitation in enrolling our baby to start as a 1 year old, when I return to work.

β β β β β Bear Park Patey Street is a friendly and professional ECC institution. They take an active interest in your child and work with you to ensure your child develops and grows while at the centre. All of the staff are friendly and approachable and my children are comfortable with all of the teachers not just the ones in their rooms. The environment has a homely feel and the facilities are great, both inside and out. The rabbits are a hit too. My children are always well fed and the oldest one who can speak always tells be he has had a good day.

β β β β β Bear Park is an excellent day care centre. The staff are friendly, well trained, and really takes an interest in your child and their interests and abilities. The food is fresh and made onsite and the chef is extremely knowledgeable (from salicylates to allergies and eczema) and have been extremely helpful guiding and assisting us too with our daughters challenges β they really do care, assist, adapt and include. For babies you couldnβt ask for a better child to teacher ratio and sleeping room, and for toddlers they have the best outdoor area with trees, and heaps of activities to keep your lil one occupied. Patey street might look like a house converted into a Child Care Centre, but it truly is a Home, - with a tightknit group of children & teachers, who all love, share and respect one another. <3
