★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden cabin, nested in a dairy farm. Beautiful place for a night stay and amazing hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast.
Be sure to arrive before sunset and wakup in time to watch sunrise.
Bring wine and snacks along with you as the cabin is in a remote area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Old Postoffice combines the charm of NZ's pioneer years with a modern interior, including a super comfy bed and a spotless bathroom. We loved this B&B for its privacy, the farm surrounding it and, most importantly, for Yske and Marius being absolutely lovely and welcoming hosts who not only make a delicious breakfast (which they even offer to bring you over to enjoy in bed), show you the farm and introduce you to their 300 friendly Jersey cows, but also do everything to make you feel comfortable. Five stars are well deserved!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Yske and Marius made it a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Breakfast was exactly what I wanted and I learnt a great deal about life in the area and New Zealand which added to the experience.. Negative: Nothing.

The owners are nothing but accommodating. They were very kind to take us on a tour of the farm, which was a great insight and the breakfast is delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: If you are going to Rotorua stay at the Old post office where you will meet two wonderful people Yske&Marius.they made our stay just perfect . It might be a little bit small but cosy and comfy With great breakfasts exciting trips around the farm even tried to show us some glow worms,wrong weather though. They were so helpful and kind THANK YOU we will always remember our visits Eunice and Ray. Negative: Possible a fridge would be good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location is on a farm away from the sulphurous atmosphere of Rotorua. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly and informative. The property was in the grounds of their home and was very well fitted out and equipped. The breakfast was excellent and our hosts ate theirs with us which we much appreciated. We were given a tour of part of the farm with Yske who could answer any question we asked her. We left much more informed about diary farming in New Zealand than when we arrived. An excellent find!. Negative: Nothing..
