★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positiv: Angie ist eine aussergewöhnlich aufmerksame und fürsorgliche Gastgeberin. 'My house is your house' ist hier wirklich wörtlich gemeint. Für uns war der Aufenthalt eines der Highlights unserer Neuseelandreise. Angie hat uns die ganze Farm gezeigt ... wer Tiere mag, ist hier am richtigen Platz. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend gross, sauber, und hat ein ausgezeichnetes Bett, zwei Gästezimmer teilen sich eine Dusche und Toilette. Das Frühstück bereitet Angie aus überwiegend eigenen Produkten und ist ausgezeichnet. Wir bekamen wirklich gute Tipps zu den Attraktionen Rotoruas, diese sind mit dem Auto in ca 30min Fahrzeit um die Farm erreichbar.. Negativ: Da gab es Nichts ... uns hat es super gefallen. Wer Tiere, Ruhe und die Nähe zu einer Gastfamilie mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Travelling with my mom and the host Angie was amazing and showing us around the farm in the morning with a lot of information and interesting experience, especially for my mother who did this for the first time. Also really appreciate Angie waiting for us for late arrival..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Bed was comfortable, helpful provision of maps and leaflets for the area, breakfast included home grown jams. Helpful loan of pliers to mend a jammed suitcase catch.. Negative: Perfect cleanliness is NOT expected at a farmstay, but this was dirtier than most. 'Private' bathroom was shared with family, and was dirty. Toilet needed particular attention. With owners going out to work each morning, there was pressure to have an early breakfast if we wanted anything cooked, giving the feeling that we were a nuisance rather than welcome..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Friendly welcome to a very authentic place, of course far different from the sterilized cleanliness of a Fenton Road Motel in Rotorua. Good, clean and comfortable bedrooms. Fabulous home-made breakfast. Beautiful encounter with the farm animals. And a fantastic opportunity to discover a beautiful part of the country, far from the madding crowd.. Negative: People subject to allergies might not appreciate the presence of ducklings in a cage under a warm light, chirping in front of their rooms. No matter how quaint it may be, the smell and the noise of these charming little creatures is not necessarily a bonus to the peace and quiet of their night sleep. (My niece minded the ducklings, we were not disturbed.).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: This was one of the best booking.com stays we've ever had. Angie was an amazing host. She makes the most amazing jam from the fruit trees on the property and serves it with the best breakfast. She took us on a tour of the farm which was beautiful. Both her and Munroe, her husband both work on the farm and you can see it's their passion to farm sustainably and share what they know with their guests. If you want to experience the real New Zealand then this is the place to come.. Negative: Nothing. Our stay exceeded our expectation in every way..
