About Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park
Set on a large stretch of coastal land, Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park has seen people camping there since 1903.
The holiday park’s popularity has been due to the amazing location in an elevated position overlooking the Tasman Sea, giving outstanding sunsets in the west.
During the early days of the campground, visitors enjoyed watching steam trains turning around in the nearby yards as well as fishing and playing in the rock pools.
Visitors today enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that the holiday park offers while making the most of its central location.
The park’s current owners Peter & Anna and John & Jan Crawford have been in residence since 2017. The Crawford family are naturally hospitable and enjoy their regular interactions with their valued guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and modern facilities. They really try to think of everything and everyone. Close to the CBD and gorgeous views. Wheelchair-accessible cooking and showers, trampoline for the kids, spa pool for their parents. Event lent me a power extension for my medical equipment.

Staying in my caravan on a seaside site. Booked in for two nights, and then extended it for another two... Thank you ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to stay. Friendly and accommodating owners. We were able to take our small dog with us which was awesome. Great size sites, easily fitted our camper van and vehicle. Our site had awesome views and right by a new amenities block which is one of the best I’ve seen. Park was tidy and well maintained. Amenities were clean and well laid out, with great size kitchen and lounge area. Easy access to the walkway and down to the port. We’ve booked in to go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed at Belt Road campsite many times over the last few years. First in tents and now in our campervan. It's a great camping ground. One of the best I've stayed at. Facilities are lovely and clean. It's close to town as well as being right on the coastal walkway. Dog friendly too so we can have our little dog with us.
And the views. Just stunning views out over Breakwater Bay and the port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are here for 4 nights to start with. We have a lovely site looking straight out over the Tasman sea. Can see the port. Very quiet apart from the cicadas. Ablutions are clean and well kept. So we are happy with where we are.

Staff was helpful and even moved our stuff over while we were out. Friendly and welcoming. Great facilities clean and tidy. Loved it would totally stay again. Thanks Belt road team
