At BestStart Dinsdale we're a lovely early learning centre with individual rooms created for the developmental stages of our tamariki. We're open from 7.30am to 5.30pm right through the year, only closing for public holidays.
About BestStart Dinsdale
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te WhΔriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

" My son and I always feel welcome - I believe the atmosphere of the centre is very telling. It is a happy, busy, colourful place which my son enjoys. The staff are wonderful and caring and I appreciate the level of communication they have with me. My son is doing activities I never considered and the resources are great for developing minds. I love storypark and hearing about my sons learning - his grandparents like being involved in this too. Great Job :)"

A supportive learning environment is provided with open communication between parents and teachers.
Our daughter has been enrolled for 3 years now and has loved every minute.

β β β β β when we first came to ABC Dinsdale we had just moved to Hamilton. we knew nothing about the schools or centers. the staff here made the start amazing and have continued to be a please since day dot. our second daughter is now attending and we couldnt be more thankful for the support they have in the growth and development of our girls. β β β β β I have had three children attend Beststart Dinsdale over the last 6 years, and each one has had an awesome experience at the centre. We enrolled our children there on the recommendation of family members and have not been disappointed. All of the staff have always been friendly, helpful and made each child feel super welcome and supported. The indoor and outdoor environments are always clean and tidy and often changing to cater to the children's interests at the time. We highly recommend this centre to anybody looking for an amazing daycare in the Dinsdale area!
