About BestStart Te Awamutu
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING daycare and AMAZING staff. My son has enjoyed being apart of the Topkids on George Street. He has learnt so much, in a loving caring environment that encourages child lead development and play. the interaction between child and teacher is top notch and the communication between teachers and parents is outstanding. I couldn't ask for a better place to care for my child. I entrust them daily with his welfare and they never fail in looking out for what's best for him and the other children.
