β β β β β We dined as a group of 5 for lunch and were very impressed with the menu choices, the friendly staff and the overall ambience & cleanliness of the restaurant. Our meals came out promptly, were well-presented & tasty. We discovered an overcharge on our bill once we got home. A visit back to the restaurant the next morning had the issue quickly resolved and a refund was given. Excellent customer service! Thank you. We will definitely dine at Bird on a Wire Ormiston again soon.

β β β β β Ordered the BBQ Bacon & Buttermilk Burger with Fries and Chicken feed for one, salad option was the Japanese slaw. Burger was better than the feed for one, just. If you order this burger, I recommend you ask for the bbq sauce on the side as they put alot in the burger causing it to gets too wet, really messy to eat and the bbq sauce flavor overpowers everything else. The fried chicken inside minus the sauce etc, was good though, just let down by the use of the sauce ratio. Tip: don't order this if your on a first date unless you want sauce dripping all over your face and hands.
For the second order, the chicken feed for one, I highly recommend ordering something else off the menu if you are hungry. Made a rookie mistake thinking it would be delicious finger licking chicken because of the focus on chicken on the menu. But to make a comparison it's like a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket but you only get the thigh, a bit of bread the size of toddlers fist and a salad (unfortunately too dry) for $19. Cried inside, but at least this meal was low calorie - if that's your kinda thing.
You have to ask for water as they don't put cups or jugs out, we didn't get offered any too.
Will probably give it a second try one day for redemption but not rushing back. Perhaps other branches in busier precincts would provide better quality.

β β β β β Lots of room for improvement here .. kids requested plain waffles with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.. waitress said they can do that ..came out with maple syrup and no whipped cream ( I sent them back) they just put chocolate sauce over maple syrup resulting in too sweet for kids to eat.. presentation was good but food was a bit disappointing chicken on the dry side and service was below average

β β β β β Upon arrival, I was met with a very friendly greeting to confirm our reservation :) Food came out fairly quick and was full of flavour. The dishes on the photo are the Korean chicken (was not really that spicy and I can't handle spice well) and southern chicken bowls. Looks a bit small but it is pretty filling!

β β β β β Stopped by for dinner since it was one of the places with free seating at the time. I have tried the other branches but it had been a while. WE grabbed some menus and a table. We ordered at the counter and then the food was brought to the number.
We grabbed some roast chicken as well as some of the fried chicken. We tried the OG and the Korean fried chicken and both were nice. The OG wasn't super crispy but it was nice with the two dipping sauces. Both the sirracha sauce and the korean fried chicken was a little spicy. The loaded fries was essentally a poutine and was amazing. The garlic bread was quite fluffy but not very crunchy and surprisingly had feta. The roast chicken was quite juicy. The potato salad had some potatoes which were under cooked so it wasn't particularly appetising.
The food was alright. The service was a bit slow but unsure if it was because they were understaffed. We did eventually get the extra side plates and cutlery we asked for.

β β β β β Took my cousin here for her 18th birthday. Service was amazing, food portions were great, coffee and ice tea was really nice too. Food and drinks both great ?? will eat here again. A+ service.

β β β β β The Korean burger was underwhelming. I didnβt feel a single spice kick. The combination tasted weird.
The BBQ Bacon & Buttermilk Burger was bomb. Tastes really good and the chicken was crunchy.
I have not tried their other dishes but if youβre wanting to get a burger, you might want to consider going elsewhere.
