Even though this is a nice place to go, i would imagine it is flat out busy during summer. If you have a large campervan / motorhome like me, dont go as the sites are fairly wet and soggy as we nearly got stuck. But the ramp to the ford is far too steep so it took out our rear bumper and lights on the way out. Just real bad luck for us and our new van.

Cousin has a caravan out there. Camping grounds really well looked after. Public toilets kept clean. Easy parking and access to beach. Big thumbs up from us

We stayed here for one night ( powered campsite ) which was quite pleasant. The facilities were pretty good, staff was friendly and relaxed. If you are into marine life/biology, it's a great place to stay as it is really close to ( basically on ) the marine reserve. We spotted a seal, stingray, some crayfish, lots of nudibranch and pleurobranch in the tidal pools, lots and lots of cool aquatic vegetation.

We were only there for a short time but it is lovely, and there is a grassy area with picnic benches dotted around, and some large trees where people can sit and admire the beach and Angeangi ocean reserve. That is a protected area where fishing and other water activities like boating are not permitted so that the marine creatures can thrive and breed in peace
