★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is really rough access... went to the edge and decided wasn't worth going down.. Pretty sure there is easier way to get to the beach a bit forward on the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not Bluecliffs Beach - the actual Bluecliffs Beach (where you can see the blue cliffs) is a further 5km up the Papatotara Coast Road.
However if you don’t mind a bit of walk across the paddocks and down to the beach that is part of Te Waewae Bay, you can, on foot, get to the beach from here.
