β β β β β The Riverside Markets are full of wonderful eateries and artisans. Like a modern version of Melbournes markets. A must if visiting Christchurch. Loved the array of bread and pastries to chose from at Bohemian. One of those places to go back to again and again.

β β β β β Their soup of the day was amazing!
I was told that their cinnamon rolls are the best but the first time I went there and asked about it the staff said: "are u seeing any cinnamon roll? So, we donβt have it". I definitely didnβt check before I asked, but wasnβt expecting this kind of answer.
I really thought to not return there after this but I gave another chance returning early in the morning and still no luck and Iβm afraid of asking when is the best time to return or if there is a day that they have it and the staff be blunt again.
Anyway⦠as I said, good soup but not the best attendance.

β β β β β This bakery smells so good. My grilled croque monsieur was delicious. Melty GruyΓ¨re cheese and ham snuggly held by two thick crispy-edged slices of dense dark seeded sourdough. The side of 2 poached eggs was a bit steep at $6, but such is Covid prices I guess. The seating area upstairs is warm and green with an interesting outlook on the action happening on the bakery floor.

β β β β β Highly Recommend place to go! If you want to have some fresh pastry products or other bread products with a cup of coffee just come here early in the morning! I had a soup of day with extra bread, it was really nice, staffs were very friendly and kind with smiling face. As far as remember, there are 6 tables are available. I didn't try all of menus but I can tell most of menus are really reasonable price.

β β β β β Bohemian Bakery Cafe, St Asaph Street
For some time now, I have enjoyed and liked the almond croissant of Bohemian Bakery. But recently, I had brunch here on a Saturday morning, which was my first experience of dining in here.
The very first item on the brunch menu - shakshouka - caught my attention. But I requested for fried eggs instead of poached eggs, which the chef readily agreed to.
The service was prompt. We were seated upstairs which was nice. The place was full with diners as well as those who came to buy the cabinet food items.
The food was delicious and the hot beverages were good too. The ambience is nice and welcoming.
I will be happy to visit again as well as recommend this place to anyone.
