★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say that craft beer can be a bit hit and miss with one's taste buds, but it is fair to say that one of the very best beers ever to touch my taste buds has to be Bootleg Brewery's Rum Burgundy. Not some woke 2% light beer, it comes in at a ripe 6.8% and has a taste profile that is almost heavenly. It may be the rum that enhances it - it certainly can be tasted - and it is INCREDIBLY drinkable, a point that I cannot emphasise enough.
You'll savour this, wish the bottle was bigger, and hope that someone doesn't torment you with one while you're participating in Dry July, because.......yep! Leadeth me not into temptation for I am a willing participant.
