Philippa and Al are fantastic hosts.
Cottage is located on a beautiful farm with awesome views. Clean, tidy and well appointed. Food was lovely and personal touches made it so nice. We didn't want to leave.
Hope to return with family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a gem on the rail trail. You are likely to be collected from town by the proprietors (although it's an easy 6-8km from town bike ride on an e-bike). Exceptionally clean, well turned out Farm cottage, with a well-stocked fridge, as well as a washing machine. Every detail has been well thought out here with a small selection of toiletries available and home baking in the kitchen on arrival. Phillipa made us an absolutely gorgeous dinner for 6. A highliggt on our trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place and Phillipa was a star host. We loved the delicious meal and all the extra treats. We felt so spoilt. Very comfortable beds and linen. The kids were well catered for with the activity box outside, and we all got to see the most spectacular sunrise. Braeside was the highlight of our 10 day South Island trip. Thank you so much, you have created, not just a place too stay, but an amazing experience.
