★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service, booked online via bookme and when I visited their Christchurch store on the day of appointment, the gates were locked. Received a call from a staff member next day saying they were closed and their calendar is not updated on bookme. Person on call asked if I will be interested in rescheduling it for coming Saturday which I agreed to. They said they will call me again for confirmation but didn't hear from them the whole week. When tried contacting at Christchurch branch on Friday, a day before service at different times during the day, got no response. Tried reaching out to their wellington office and all they had to say was you should not have booked through bookme. The lady on the phone was not at all apologetic and made it sound it was all my mistake of booking a service with them. Thanks for ruining the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I personally found this way more painful than normal strip or hot wax because they continously push down hard to try and spread the lump of room temperature wax over the hair which looses its stickiness after a while

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seshni was amazing! I had come from another wax salon for the last couple months, and realized they were breaking my skin and breaking my hair consistently. Seshni noticed this, explained the cause, and talked me through solutions on how sugaring will be kinder to my skin. She took care of me and I felt so relaxed! It was my first sugar wax experience and I am totally converted! So very happy to have found my regular salon finally!! Will be going again, and will recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you!
