★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to take off my acrylic nails 4 days ago. My nails were cover with glue and acrylic nails were supposed to be taken out by putting some nail remover acid kind of thing and by wrapping around the foil( which I explained) but instead she used the fake nail between my real and fake nails and pulled out my acrylic nails with some nail equipment forcefully inspite seeing my nails were cover with glue. My nails are still hurting. Never going there again ever. Don’t recommend this to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressed with the attention to detail with the manicure. It's hard to find somewhere that can actually do an immaculate job but these ladies are the best. I had back fill on acrylic extensions with gel polish and they did a phenomenal job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally I found a nail salon that is close to home and pretty accommodating fitting you in on the day you call them and easy parking being in South City Mall. They also do great nail art, which is difficult to find in Christchurch!
I show them a pic on my phone and they replicate the design perfectly, unlike other nail tech's who can't do it, or don't have the fine brushes (right tools for the job). Reasonable price too.
$60 for gel removal, cut and shape, gel.application and 4 nails with artwork.
No nasty fumes in the salon either, or appalling health and safety standards like asking you to put your hand in nail removal solution (which goes straight into your bloodstream!), or ripping your gel polish off with mini pliers which damages your nail bed, like in most Asian run nail salons.
Best nail art I've had so far, and I've been to many salons in Christchurch! My legs also fit under their table's when sitting too, which is a bonus, as I am tall and in most nail salons I can't get my legs under their low tables, which is uncomfortable leaning forward and stretching my arms over the table.
The girls are friendly if you make an effort to converse with them, otherwise it's the stock standard kind of customer service you get in these salons run by Chinese staff whose English is broken, and they don't talk to you and you can kind of feel like a number.

However, last week i had a treatment and when i
got home i found i was unhappy with the result.
Due to xmas/ public holidays, i returned after a few days. I was told it was the fault of the polish i chose and was treated like a burden when i asked them to fix it. Poor communication and customer service. Staff do not make conversation with clients and speak between themselves in languages clients cannot understand. This left me feeling like they were talking about/ complaining about me.. Won’t be returning after this experience.

My daughter loved her nails (just normal polish) and getting them done she had wanted it done for weeks and was happy with her polish and it lasted well a week before any chipped
