★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery has the best chicken pies in New Zealand. I have been to a lot of bakeries, especially to a few voted Best Bakeries in NZ, and they don't come close to Bucklands Beach Bakery. I've been going to this bakery since 1987 and haven't tasted a better chicken pie yet. I had doubters, but once they came here and tasted there chicken pie they were also amazed. I even had people recommend other bakeries, but I'm sorry, I've pretty much tasted the highly recommended ones, and now I can say Bucklands Beach Bakery has THE BEST CHICKEN PIES IN NEW ZEALAND.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without question this bakery should get more credit than it does, particularly for their pies. I have tried many up and down the country but particularly for thick, flakey & not dried out pastry you can’t go past Buckland Beach Bakery - please go out of your way if you are a pie lover ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without a dbout 5 stars, food has always been made to the best standard, it has litterally never disappointed me ever. Mince and cheese pie is one of the best ive had and the sausage roll is easily the best ive had anywhere in new zealand. The cream doughnuts are fresh everyday and always hit the spot. The owners and staff are super friendly and really seem to know nearly everyone in the area even if you havent been for months.

Service was efficient and friendly, rounding off a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome friendly customer service. I've been here twice now and I've enjoyed everything I've tried :) from savoury pies and spinach and feta quiche to sweet cream Lamingtons, my son really enjoyed the Louise caramel slice. Thank you for the great snacks and keep up the awesomeness.
