And, to top it off, a delicious coffee afterwards. Will be returning again very soon for sure, the highest of recommendations! ??

All the staff were very welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful but without being pushy as in some places. We had more than one person come and check in/take orders but all appeared to be aware of who had already come to take an order for food or drink and there was no overlap. The food was reasonably priced for what we received. The kids meals and my own burger meal was large and was great tasting for what it was - particularly my Southern Comfort Chicken burger which had really good flavours.. My husband ordered a filet steak and it was cooked perfectly as to what he requested and again had nice flavours. The sundae of the day was brilliant also! Overall a fantastic meal out and will be back again!
L	Lynda Walters-Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered their special cob loaf, it was a filled burger bun. Not impressed. Especially for $15 or $16 We then ordered the venison and southern chicken. The chicken was dry and overcooked as were the cross cut fries. The salad was limp. The venison sounded great on the menu, but again we were disappointed. The venison was cooked well but you could taste it as it was drowned in sauce. I mushroom on the plate and maybe 2 baby beets cut up. Very disappointed ?. The staff were lovely and they made great lemon lime and bitters. The manager did call afterwards and apologized but too little too late. He offered a voucher for a free meal but we would not go back as it was very disappointing.

I’ve had the steak here a few times before and it has never disappointed, so I thought I’d try something different. The Apricot Chicken In Philo Pastry caught my eye and sounded delicious. It was spectacular and my new favourite meal at Bullock Bar. The pastry was perfectly crispy & flaky, and the chicken was smooth and melts in your mouth. Absolutely delicious and surprisingly filling. I’m not generally a salad guy, but even the salad was spectacular. The chips were crispy and crunchy, and all in all a highly recommended meal. I was on my own, so I had my dinner in the The Bar area, and the range of beers on tap didn’t disappoint either. Was watching some rugby game replays which gave enough time to make space for dessert. A Chocolate Tasting Plate and a Cappuccino to finish off a great meal in a great restaurant. I’ll be back again! Thank you Bullock staff for an exceptional evening, and hats off to the chefs! I’ll be back!
K	Kerrin Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful dinner for 3. All of us had steak, all different, all perfectly cooked. Then to top off we each had the Sticky Date Pudding. Wow. Easily one of the best sticky date pudding we've ever had. So full, so delicious. We'll be back for sure.
S	Sheep9 LOL on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by a local, so looked forward to going, unfortunately our meals were dry, we got pork ribs x 2 and warm chicken salad, and pork belly, all meats were dry/over cooked...... we had ribs in Wanaka and Queenstown over the past 4 days, so had great comparison. Unfortunately Bullock ribs arent worth their pricing at all...pricing on other meals is standard but had hoped for nicer texture(less overcooked), dessert was delayed/ waiting a while and I had to follow up, apparently they were 'too busy cleaning up they forgot about that docket'.... sorry team, I hate complaining but hopefully you take these comments on board for future customers.
