Bunnings team members regularly conduct D.I.Y. Workshops for local community groups, like schools and kindergartens, nursing homes and hospitals.
Our teams can head out and visit a community group, or welcome a community group into the D.I.Y. area for a workshop.
Workshops are tailored for the needs of each community group and can include gardening, craft, woodwork, water and energy saving activities, as well as kids activities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Te Rapa store. Would have got 5 stars if I hadn't been cut off 4 times and spoken to a very unapologetic manager who advised they were busy? A big thank you though to the lady in Customer Services (5th call) who advised that the trade department employees had left for the day. That lady deserves 5 stars, very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop is legend!! They stock every conceivable item. They advertise that they don't have sales, because their prices are already the lowest! But, the BEST thing about them is their staff have been properly trained, they are knowledgeable as well as courteous and pleasant. It is a pleasure shopping there! Splendid!! I will be back - again and again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge store with an enormous range of goods, to the extent that it can be hard to find what you want.
The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, but there are only a few of them. More often than not they are helping someone else find something. There are bargains for people who look for them.
The toilets were looking a bit worn, which I find ironic in a hardware store (when you have the tools, consumables and people available to keep it looking functional) and they needed a good clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good fast team, always willing to help. Cheaper prices overall than competitors. Good long operating hours such as closing 9pm summer time, weekdays. One of my favourite local stores on Te Rapa Straight. Highly recomended for a visit. There is something for everyone.
