★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. There are a lot of large companies out there with bafflingly awful e-commerce solutions and Bunnings might just be the worst of the lot. I had a couple of orders cancelled due to stock shortages not accurately reflected on the website, and one order failed to go through entirely with no notification given that this had occurred. Presumably, the cancelled orders led to my account being flagged for suspicious activity as subsequent orders made at different stores in an effort to hunt down the out-of-stock parts I needed were automatically and instantly cancelled with no explanation. When I called customer support to try and resolve the issue, they told me that there was nothing they could do and that I would simply have to wait a few days - yes, days - and try again. Evidently the software engineering PhDs who designed this dreadful system didn't consider it prudent to add any kind of manual override, leaving no recourse for the company or the consumer when it malfunctions. Being unable to place another order, at least, wasn't a problem as I have precisely zero interest in subjecting myself to this garbage system again. Eventually I did what I evidently should have done from the start and drove to the store and picked out the parts myself. Mitre 10's online order system is also pretty lackluster but nowhere near as bad as this, so I will probably be using that for any future hardware orders.
In short: if you need to buy from Bunnings, you're best off just going in and picking the stuff you need yourself, because their online order system is worse than useless in its current state.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad experience regarding their vechicle hire. Staff even don’t know how to add insurance on the vechicle. Ask for the same information again and again even though I have filled online on their website. Waste so much of time. Took more than half hour just for processing and handing over the key to me. Better to hire from someone else and save time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are offering a service please make sure your staff on how to do service properly. Went to your store for key cut but after two returns the key does work. Will have to come back for a refund. So you and me don’t waste our time, don’t offer this service if your staff can’t do it properly!

Was really impressed at this was the first Bunnings where staff asked if I needed help rather than waiting for me to approach them. A lovely gentleman who I didn’t catch the name, approached us to see if we needed help than proceeded to take us to the aisle and show us the different options.
