About Burger Wisconsin
The first Burger Wisconsin store opened its doors in the Wellington suburb of Wadestown in 1989.
It was the original NZ gourmet burger store and introduced combinations such as Avocado & Bacon and Camembert & Cranberry to the New Zealand takeaway market. We have been a proudly NZ owned and operated franchise since then, and have grown to 24 stores across the country.
While we’re NZ owned, leading the way for delicious healthy food in the burger market, we pay tribute to the history of great burgers through our name Burger Wisconsin, which reflects Wisconsin, USA’s title ‘Home of the Hamburger’.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered online, but when I rolled up at the joint they didn't know who I was or which planet I came from. Turns out menulog orders are optional, but the staff kindly asked if I would still like my dinner. So thoughtful! Although, I wish the guy making my burgers would stop wiping is nose with his hands ? But maybe the snot flavor worked out because the burgers were actually pretty tasty. Overall 2 star experience, but I will give 3 stars because it ended up being free due to an error in their ordering system (not as a courtesy).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven’t been in there place in Island Bay, but I have ordered from here about seven times now with Uber eats. Every time I have, I have been very happy with what I have order from there. Just one thing it would be awesome if you could add another vegetarian burger please ?

Customer service. The young woman doing foh was lovely and calm. Despite being controlled, belittled and micromanaged by her boss. Most appalling example of how to treat your staff.
Environment was dirty and uninviting.Cameras all focused on the staff.
Recommendation, just avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered online. Order wasnt ready at the estimated time and had to wait 15 minutes. Discovered a big spot of green mould on the Petite burger bun. Emailed them that night with a photo to let them know. I don't like posting bad reviews but it's been 11 days and still no response. The most expensive mouldy burger I've ever bought.

Received the chips cold, and there were about 10 small fries in the box.

Incredibly disappointed for my $8 (+delivery) curly fries to arrive, to find it was literally 2 curly fries and some small pieces that would perhaps make a third. So if you're happy to pay like $3 per chip, go right ahead... Never ordering from here again. ?
