★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into Nelson Burnsco around 6 weeks ago.
I walked into there store and I was abused by a male staff member who told me to get out of the store because I wasn't wearing a mask and my partner said that she has a mask excemption.
Thee staff member told me that he was there to enforce the rules .
My partner wrote a letter of complaint, and to date we have not heard anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Any store that is actively enforcing segregation and discriminating, when it’s only retail, will not get my business, or my businesses business. Really poor form. If you’re jabbed, you’re safe. Happy to take my custom to inclusive businesses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I popped in to get some help with my motorhome toilet which was leaking. The lady who served me was more knowledgeable about the Thetford products than I could have imagined and I left mot only with the parts I needed, but well educated on several other aspects of the system. Always makes such a difference to find people who really know their stuff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the best experience at Burnsco, we came to checkout some kayaking gear and got the best service from Simon , Simon was really amazing. 2 years in Nelson and had the best service. Simon was super humble and willing to go to any extent to help us. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After my experience today I will no longer be spending money at this store. I went in for a few things when I was approached by a store employee asking me if i had a mask to wear. I said no I don't and showed him my exemption card two times which he said does not matter and to read the signs on the door. Goodbye, from a loyal customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price on products not matching price at checkout. Beware! Staff not helpful at all. Despite Burnsco being legally required to sell products at the price advertised on the sticker, the staff were not friendly or apologetic at all, made me feel like it was my mistake, so I walked out with my $400.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not recommend shopping with Burnsco NZ as they discriminate against people with face mask exemption. Talk to the Manager Director Bruce of Burnsco NZ Ltd and he thinks its ok to discriminate people. Very poor!! From a Manager Director.
