★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's cool, just a big sculpture of the legendary Burt Munroe. the park however I'd absolutely beautiful so don't visit invercargill without stopping by and strolling thru the gardens and under the trees

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burt Munro holds a special place in kiwi history, and more so Invercargill. The statue is nicely located just outside of Queens Park.
There is plenty of parking and it is free to visit. You can see the original ‘Burt Special’ motorcycle (and movie replica) at the local Hammer Hardware, also for free.
