★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place seems to have new owners. Cabinet food now limited and less Interesting. A couple of times it seemed the owner was loudly conducting business meetings at one of the tables, urging staff to "upsell and upsell, not just coffee".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming here a few years now. Service is a continuing problem. I came in at 3.30pm. Paid for coffee. I was the 2nd person in the cafe. Waited. The 3 other people came in and were served their coffees. I waited. Then another was served, and the staff then left the counter. 15min had gone by. I was angry so I threw my coffee card on the counter and left, never to return.
The staff mostly sit at the back of the cafe in the preparation area. Customers are seen as interruptions.
