β β β β β I have probably just had my single most favourite flavour explosion in my culinary life! The Pork and Apple salad was incredible! An absolute must try! Our girls fluffy was above and beyond too! #foodreview

β β β β β What an incredible little cafΓ© this is!!!
The food was really yummy, and the service was one of the best I ever received in New Zealand. Amazing place to stop for a quick lunch or just grab a coffee for the road. It is even worth to take a little detour to try their delicious dishes!

β β β β β Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, great coffee, our meals were really really good! I was expecting a bit more of maybe different options on the breakfast menu but maybe I'm just old fashioned and a bit more basic than this funky cafe! Really enjoyed everything regardless and would definitely recommend it!

β β β β β We had the best experience here. We sat in the alleyway on a gorgeous day. A staff member offered to move the sign near our table so I could sit on the other side and not have the sun full in my face. Very observant and thoughtful! Also, the cheese scones and coffee were perfect. All serving staff were masked.

β β β β β The service was really great, and it was quite busy! But the meal was absolutely delicious. I had the Middle eastern feast, great flavours and not an overly large meal for lunch. This would be my local if I lived in Thames, thanks guys. Oh, and the book and puzzle shop owner recommended you.

β β β β β Excellent-great food and coffee in a really cool space. Will have to visit on a different day so as to visit the shops in the building, but we'll settle for Every single dish being absolutely delicious-we had the fried chicken, lamb burger and kids fish n chips. Just delicious.

β β β β β We were recommended CafΓ© Melbourne by the proprietor of our wonderful accommodations (The Church Accomodations) in Hahei Beach as we made our way back to Auckland.
The food was so much better than we could have ever expected. We started with their soup of the day, roasted pumpkin and leek, served with perfectly buttered sourdough bread to dunk. Then I had the lamb-shank and seasonal vegetables which ended up being in the form of a tasty pot pie. My husband ordered the taste plate and his order was the best. The taste plate included smaller portions of three of the most popular menu items: the pork and apple salad; the Go Kujan chicken; and the fish curry. All of it done to perfection. We highly recommend you stop in at CafΓ© Melbourne even if you are only driving through Thames.
