β β β β β Came here for brunch. Most of the other cafes were closed on account it was a holiday and Chequers was quite busy. We were warned that the food could be an hour, but with few options we stuck around. Fortunately it was only a half hour before we got our food. The potato rosti was nice. There was a slight mix up on which platter got the bacon, but it wasnβt difficult to fix. I had the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised. Fish wasnβt greasy and was nicely seasoned. Service was friendly, though seemed rushed, but thatβs understandable given how busy they were. Overall a solid 4 stars.

β β β β β This place is unique. The tables out the back of the shop are built around some beautiful trees. The coffee and food is great too. A gem in Thames.

β β β β β Not very friendly. Didn't let me know there was no sauce for my eggs. I had to ask after it was delivered to find out they had run out. Food was cold. One piece of burnt bacon on the big breakfast. Forgot the side of toast. Nice courtyard and coffee was pretty good. Would not come back.

β β β β β Shop was extremely clean and the staff amazingly friendly. My order was taken with a smile and arrived promptly at my table. Food was delicious and a very good portion
size. My coffee was perfect, nice and hot which I prefer. Their prices were very reasonable, thank you Chequers Courtyard CafeThames, keep up the good work, see you on my next visit.

β β β β β Another awesome breakfast at Chequers Courtyard Cafe. Food and service was great, and the peaceful sunny courtyard is a great way to relax before we start the trip home

β β β β β Food was good but WAY too expensive for the amount we got. This stuffed potato was the smallest one in the cupboard, and was $10. It was not worth it. Why would they make one this small, especially when the other potatoes were twice as big as the one I got ? Mum ordered pumpkin soup and the bread they gave her was two barely toasted peices, not even the size of baguette slices.

β β β β β Awful food , worse than hospital food. The fish hotpot was very salty, and the bread on the side were very dry. If there were some frozen veggie mix inside, it would have helped cut the heaviness and saltiness. The sausage roll and savoury wasnβt good at all, just dry. Went at the end of the day so only offered cabinet food which could be a contributing factor :/ !
Otherwise lovely seating area at the back!
