★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday, they open early! Cooked breakfast was so yummy I forgot to take a photo LoL. Good coffee, prompt service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a stop here at this lovely cafe to break your journey and enjoy some delicious food & coffee. I can recommend the carrot cake especially moist. Yum. Friendly chatty staff, warm sunny cafe with outdoor seating if preferred. Quant little town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here a few times, $0.5 extra for a takeaway cup, no toilets on site (have to use public toilets next door). Coffee was nice, and cabinet food looked lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience was interesting with local history, the service was pleasant, the food was 5 star but the coffee let the whole experience wanting. The coffee tasted burnt and very bitter even a teaspoon of sugar didn't make it more palatable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out to Norsewood Cafe for breakfast. The food was delicious, plentiful, and well presented. The cafe is well presented with displays of past history and photos. Unfortunately I found the place a bit chilly, mind you we were sitting next to the big front doors (big white ones from the outside), and there was a bit of a draft (yeh we could have moved) from around them, some form of heating would be welcoming.
Overall a very pleasant outing for a Saturday morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great! We have four boys, including baby twins and the staff were very accommodating. We obviously had our hands full, so one of the friendly waitresses came over and cut my children's food up for them.
Fantastic food. We always stop here in our trips to the Hawkes Bay.
