★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful spot as soon as you walk in the door you wouldn't even think you were next to the main drag, the photo board of cakes is beautifully displayed on the wall.
I had the waffles omg they beat pancakes ? any day...my partner had eggs bene with a side of mushrooms ? he demolished the lot.
And then even took some cupcakes ? home I took 4 and had 1 for each day after they were perfect definitely recommend this beautiful little spot ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coffee was burnt. I enjoyed my mushrooms but dont like soggy toast. My wife was not happy as her scramble eggs seamed to have been cooked in the microwave and were rubbery. I would try it again and see if things could be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great friendly thoughtful service. Excellent breakfast meals. Couldn't resist purchasing a cheese scone for our tour trip. Was pleasantly appreciative of the complementory butter knife and seviette. We weren't disappointed in our choice of scone. YUM!

If you ask for something as simple as a bowl of hot chips your asked which sauces u would like with it, a simple delicious slice comes with the option of yogurt or cream the coffee is spectacular staff are incredibly friendly all round my favorite Cafe in the bay if you're driving through danneverke be sure to stop at sugar &salt

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, very friendly. Food came quickly. Angus burger is awesome, chips are nice. Coffee is pretty good too. Actually had some flavour and aroma, unlike a lot of other places I've been to around NZ. Next time I come through I'll be coming here again. :)
