★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good place for large family dinners and birthdays. Huge selection of pasta dishes, pizza and main courses. The Bruschetta is really good. Not the best Italian food I’ve eaten but enough choice for everyone. Would have liked Eggplant parmigiana on the menu! ??????????

We had a mixture of pasta and pizza all were throughly enjoyed in a lovely atmosphere. Pasta serves are not huge but it's aiming for more quality than quantity.
Only minor criticism was the special of the garlic loaf was a bit of a miss, it was so drowned in butter it was soggy and oily hard to even tear a piece off.
Would not hesitate to recommend a visit and would happily come back again.

Garlic pizza bread was the perfect thickness with oodles of flavour.
My pasta dish was heavenly and as for the tiramasu, devine!
Cannot wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an early dinner and used a Dining Website that offered a discount. The atmosphere was lovely, the seating was comfortable. We were a group of 4 and sat in a booth. We ordered woodfired garlic bread which we shared. The waitstaff were friendly and professional, our drinks order was taken immediately and came back fast. We ordered pizzas, and a child's meal which was also a pizza! The wait for the food was relatively short, and it was all served at the same time. We ate everything, the pizzas were thin based and very traditional. We ordered desserts too, the ice cream sundae special, chocolate cake and pear Panna cotta, kids meal included a large sundae. Totally recommend this resturant ?

We returned to Cafe Valentino after a gap of about 18 months, and for the first time under the new owners.
It was like good old days - delicious authentic food and good service.
There are not many choices for vegetarian pizzas. This ‘problem’ was easily overcome, thanks to Sitara, who was attending us. She said, “tell me what you want and don’t want, and we will make it for you.” See the photo of the vegetarian pizza, which was a result of this.
You won’t find it on the menu, but you can savour it here.
What else can one ask for!
The entree - bruschetta- was as good as we remembered. Their balsamic vinegar is special.
The drinks and dessert was good too.
Highly recommended.

Amazing service from Suzi and we loved the food. We were so full we nearly needed rolled out the door. ? We also loved that Cafe Valentino was able to cater to our dietary needs: vegan, gluten free, soy and peanut free with out any fuss. Delicious drinks. We look forward to dining again.
