★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes one of those pizzas is margherita so you wouldn't expect a lot of toppings..but the pollo*chicken pizza has literally 5 pieces of chicken each pizza has hair baked into it..this is $50 worth of pizza..I also found the staff quite rude and condescending

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im over from australia, we went here for a family dinner, the pasta was beautiful all handmade, waiter was very friendly with a great sense humor the italian red wine that was recommended was awesome.
Highly recommended for a great dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a nice experience here. The restaurant is stunning & full of character, really cool pictures on the wall. Also the food is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. I’m definitely coming back to have the Giovanni’s favourite pizza as a full meal. Service is so lovely & attentive here, recommend 100% for the whole experience. Thanks Giovanni’s!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent $60 to order via Uber eats and received two pitifully small portions of mediocre gnocchi at room temperature. To top it off, there was a hair stuck in with the cheese. Yuck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was soooo good! We ordered a lasagna and another dish (can't quite remember what it was) as well as a tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend the tiramisu! Yum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! We traveled from Waiheke on vacation and our last night we had dinner at Giovanni's. What a good idea! The starters and main courses were delicious! very tasty. We finish with some perfect desserts. Haneka was lovely to us. We will definitely go back!

Our entrées were fast, hot and delicious.
Our mains of lamb shank, slow cooked pork belly and 3 different pizzas were amazing. Beautifully presented, very tasty and delivered all at the same time with 7 dining. Great variety of dishes, with particularly good vegetarian options.
Friendly and efficient front of house staff made the experience a fun and enjoyable evening.
We will be back.
