β β β β β A Really Great Night Out, but...
Caluzzi is a super fun, night out absolutely. The performance/shows are very well done, well thought out and definitely a lot of work goes into that. You one hundred percent can see that. The queens are absolutely lovely and the entrainment factor is always plus plus.
This is about the 4th time I've been to caluzzi in the last couple years. And as much as I love the atmosphere and the show it's really losing its appeal.
The venue is well thought out for the performance and the space well utilized. But it is crammed in. A table of eight was a pretty cozy tight squeeze with not much room to comfortably eat. (Which I understand you come for the show, but...) The menu selection has one chicken, one beef and one vege option. Great!
Though now for the second time I've been the filo has always run out when it is served and the bowl of veges, though yum is pretty underwhelming and with a small salad on the side. Kind of just pulls the mood down. I think especially when you pay about $100 to eat and have a show, I sort of feel let down on the food portion. Though if you're a chicken or beef person, portion sizes are great and the food looks pretty tasty for sure.
I completely understand the appeal and the experience and I love being able to support. I know you'll usually always have a great night for sure. But you kind of almost need to eat out first and then come to the show, especially if you're vegetarian/vegan.
Overall it is 100% a great night out and if you want entertainment you will get it in the bucket loads. If you want food and a bit of a spacious dining experience you're probably going to be a little disappointed. But the shows and the talent sure make up for a lot. I'd still say go for the experience and the fun for sure! It's simply superb and def worth at least going once for absolute definite!
I just feel to get more repeat visitors, yes the shows change regularly... but you start to second guess it a little when you can get a good dinning experience and then try make it to drag wars or even sometimes watching the shows in the K Road bars.

β β β β β Having been before I can vouch for it being a great night out but I have a sour taste left in my mouth following caluzzi making a major booking error which lead to our party of 15 ( for a hens night) without a space on the night regardless of us booking and paying a long time in advance. With only 2 weeks notice we had to scramble to find an alternative during peak wedding season.
I admit they did offer some other options for private venue hire which was appreciated but id not pan out in the end. I think they need to fine tune their administration as our bride to be was really let down. I have given 3 stars as I know the talent, atmosphere and food are great...I was sad to have missed it.

β β β β β Incredible! Iβve always felt so uncomfortable at places like clubs so when I found out this was drag dinner theatre I knew Iβd be okay, and I had the best time! The girls were so lovely and Ivanna was so damn funny as the MC. The food was great as were the cocktails. Such a good way to experience a drag show, I canβt wait to come back.

β β β β β A great meal, lovely entertaining staff. Fun atmosphere. This place would be challenging for wheelchair users to get around. No wheelchair toilet. No wheelchair parking available close by. A fantastic night out. An awesome range of drinks, including non-alcoholic. Unisex toilets, one with a urinal and toilet. Every inch of available space is utilized. Close quarters dining and seating. Great for big groups 20+ or small groups. Bookings are essential as it's difficult to get in.

β β β β β We went for my hens night and it was EVERYTHING!
The food was so good, my table really wanted the soup recipe because it was that good. The steak so cooked perfectly and flavored so well. The cupcake was the perfect size and gave you extra sweetness to finish.
The drinks were super cute, they come in a flashing cup that you can take home after. The bar tender made sure they got stronger as the night got on too! Appreciate that heaps.
The show was phenomenal! The girls danced so well, the costumes were better then some you see on drag race... The entertainment was fab! Can't go wrong with a dance battle for shots right?
Would 100% recommend to everyone. Just do it!

β β β β β Had a very enjoyable night. Amazing performances by all the queens. Loved it! It would have been perfect if I could've tasted more alcohol in my drink though :)
