Everybody is always welcome and if you are in a constant hunt for a life changing coffee - definitely come here. Best enjoyed with warming sun and good friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff, the lady working there seems to hate customer, passerby and the other business around there. Saw her yelling at the guys on the restaurant to the right and at a couple having Duck Island ice-cream in one of their tables. Won't be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was nice place, because its next to candy shop, it was a little bit hard to find & quite busy but cabinet foods were nice and chips were a lot more than i expected !! Thumbs up ?
If you looking for a place when you have enough time to stay longer, gor for it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing experience with the staff today. Asked one of the waitresses if my friend and I could order takeaway coffee as we wanted to get moving on, and she dismissed us to the point that I wasn’t sure if takeaway coffee was an option. I then asked for decaf coffee, and got a blunt “no we don’t do that here”. After ordering and paying, the waitress then said “it will be a 15 minute wait”. It wasn’t overly busy so I was surprised by this wait time. I would have really appreciated being told this prior to ordering, because we would have just gone elsewhere for coffee that wouldn’t have taken so long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place makes quite seriously the best coffee in New Zealand, and I travel a tonne and drink a LOT of coffee. It's coffee only here but it's made to perfection - always fresh beans, barista milk, all dosages weighed out, and it's one of the few joints that can make long blacks that aren't terribly bitter but actually have balance. Go there!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run by the Aeropress Champion, camper coffee is the best way to start the morning. No food but you can always grab other things in NMK so not a problem. A few stools to sit on outside.
