β β β β β Excellent Laksa, tastes very authentic (me coming from a SE Asian nation, I know my Laksa...). A bit pricey now, as it used to be just $15, but now at $19 as of writing. Wasn't such a fan of marmite chicken, but it was still tasty. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Whenever I see this place I always seem to do a lotto lucky dip and drive around the park for parking. If I get one, I'm eating here. So worth it. Fast and great service. And my oh my, the food is amazing. Their rotti and curries are a great combo! Always fresh and always delicious. Would come here in a minute. Don't sleep on this one guys!

β β β β β Love the food here! The Hainan chicken is superb, been to many places and this definitely hits the spot (the sauce that comes with it is AMAZING but wish they gave a little bit more). Have been here a few times and every time Iβm in the area, I save a bit of time just to eat here. Service is fast, although not a big place it is efficient and quick service.

β β β β β Always busy. Been there many times, this time was the Best. Char quay thew was well seasoned, hainanese chicken was super soft and tasty. Nothing but good for selera tofu salad. Big thumbs up!!!! Definetely will visit again.

β β β β β Oh my, yes, a thousand times yes. This one restaurant has singlehandedly moved Malaysian food into my top 3 favourite asian cuisines. I always want to try new dishes anytime I go out, yet I don't know how I could leave here next time without once again getting the roti + beef rendang and chicken satay skewers. As a surprise bonus, they had A&W root beer which just warmed my American heart.

β β β β β Very busy Malaysian cafe that is defenitely more popular than justifiable. The food was good but not enough for a spot on my personal favourite restaurants in Auckland. The lovely worker at the cashier was very friendly and happy to ask the staff to make my order even though they were just about to go on break.
β’ Hainan Chicken Rice [4.5/5] chicken was perfectly delicate and very juicy, lovely crunchy layer of bean sprouts underneath and two questionably dry and discoloured slices of cucumber. Personally, I think the flavour of the orange sauce did not mix well with the chicken
β’ Original Fish Collar Noodle Soup [3.5/5] the soup was amazing and fragrant but the protein size was very small, an excessive proportion of bones
β’ Char Kueh Tiaw [3/5] I can easily think of many places with much better rice noodle dishes, the flavour was just very dull and lacking
