β β β β β Wow, Saturday at 12.00pm, super busy, but worth the wait. Candyshop has a great Asian inspired menu. Super tasty options for everyone. The coffee was fantastic...their own beans, Camper Coffee, smooth but still strong enough ?

β β β β β This little cafe was very busy on Saturday morning/afternoon and we had to wait for about 10 minutes to even be looked at while waiting to be seated. However, once we were seated the service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food took a while because they were busy, but the iced mochas were really tasty and the food was good! Very cute location in Newmarket.

β β β β β Visited on a Thursday Morning for brunch 10am, was very busy
Service:
Waited for around 5 min to be seated as there was no person at the counter checking our vaccine passes.
After sitting, 10 minutes passed before we were asked if we wanted coffee by three people consecutively (they did not see each other), after the coffee arrived, about 20 minutes from seating we were asked if we were hungry and wanted to order food.
Staff seemed to be darting all around the place but not available to be called on the same time. 2/5
The food came quickly though which was nice.
Food: got the eggs benedict with hot smoked salmon.
Eggs were nicely cooked, sitting atop mound of kale (they were out of spinach) and a rectangular potato rosti and two polenta chips.
Polenta was smooth on the inside, not grainy, and had a decent crunch, same for the Rosti.
The Kale was flavorful and well seasoned, but the rest of the plate save for the salmon was very subtle in flavor and perhaps needed more seasoning. The smoked salmon unfortunately did not complement the eggs and was kind of just a side dish on the same plate.

Great location in the heart of Newmarket, hidden away from the bustle of the city, love the ambience and varied options for seating 5/5
For around 25$ I expected better service and taste, sadly I would not recommend this place to my family or friends at this point, love the vibe though, good place to have coffee and chat.

β β β β β Been wanting to dine at this popular spot in Newmarket for a while and was happy with my lunch experience. The bibimbap was amazing and went well with the sauce. The prawn burger was also nice. I did expect the portion to be a little bigger given the price but they were generous with each component of the dishes so thatβs all good. Service was on point.

β β β β β I just love this place. I've only been here once (so far) but I would easily recommend The Candy Shop to others like I'm a frequent who knows the place like the back of my hand. I find their menu items to have a lovely balance of cosy familiar food Γ new twist. Cool staff and trendy atmosphere vibes - 5/5 from me!

β β β β β Ordered the Omurice rice - flavours were great. Added the pork belly which is always a must.
Sphaghettini, with prawns was also very good with lots of prawns.
Was busy during lunch, food took 30mins to come out.
5/5 for food
4/5 for atmosphere and staff

β β β β β Visited twice. Satisfied with both the food and services. Good coffees good vibe and good dishes. I have tried twice the Egg Bene with slab baconοΌjust really like the Hollandaise sauce which taste a little bit sweet but not greasy. Only the poached eggs were a little over boiled. For the fried chicken burgerοΌit's the Korean fried chicken flavor. The meat should be drumstick other than chest. Tender and juicy. Recommend with four stars.
