★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the local sports ground but the locals have added toilets and also a sink for dish washing (that's on the outside of the building). Great place to park your RV for a night or two. Or look us up on campable and come stay at our place :)
When covid hit in 2020 this place was packed out with stranded tourists. Locals did their best to look after our visitors so please respect the facilities so others can enjoy them too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little spot. We were the only camping in tents, quite a few camper and further down. Was a nice little spot, donation box there. Toilets available as well. Unfortunately there was some construction or road works going throughout the night which was quite loud but I expect it's not like that all the time, so would probably stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet and peaceful. Donation box available at the entrance. Toilets, water and sink available. Good place to stop for night before arriving Akl. You can pitch a tant in destinated area or stay in your van.
