★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We contacted them in January this year and they're booked out for the entire year already. Seems impossible to book. The correspondence to our booking query was also very minimal and disappointing, with no reply to our email apart from being fully booked for the year and no further information on how to book in future (Edit: which now from the comment on this review it also seems that they provided us with incorrect information and they are only booked out for a couple of months - again would be great if we were provided the detail in the reply to this review to our initial emails).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cantharis Alpacas. it was a unique experience and Rob, our guide, was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I'd recommend the visit for anyone who enjoys hands-on contact with animals and wants to do something different and memorable. It was a fabulous birthday treat for me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We cannot recommend a visit to this beautiful place enough! We had an absolutely incredible afternoon with you and the alpacas and it totally exceeded my expectations. The landscape is stunning and the time and knowledge you give out really makes the experience one to remember. I hope you carry on making people’s days for years to come :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Alpaca farm visit EVER! Rob is so patient with his explanation and he kindly shares so many insights to his adorable alpaca family. They are so gentle, well taken care of and just made me smile so much. The pace of the session was good and the hike scenery was just breath taking. I love when Rob claps his hands and the whole valley is filled with them all coming towards us. WOW!! Breath taking experience, a must visit in Wellington:)
