★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The park is nice And quite big. The park has something for every share group. Most part of the kids year has no shade. If you child has sensitive skin and it’s a hot sunny day then make sure that they wear covered clothes. The water play area is big and kids really enjoy it. Some part of it is concrete so better if kids are wearing some grip shoes. Our 3 year old slipped and really badly scraped her knee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful little park, family focused with plenty of activities and shade. Best children's train rides this side of the Bombay's with a fab beach around one corner and ice cream or chips around another. Must visit if you have young ones

The equipment is very sturdy and safe. I personally tested 4 pieces of playground equipment and I felt safe. I wasn't worried the equipment would malfunction due to my large and in charge physique.
A great game I made up is at the water features. Everyone starts at the same spot. The game is to wAlk at the same speed to the other side and back. (In a straight line)
Whoever is the driest wins!!
Lots of fun. Lots of giggles and smiling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply class A park. Beautiful shade trees marvelous water playground the ocean train and Kapiti Island. Good cafes and restaurants. An idyllic location for family picnics and fun.
