★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You'll have to climb a long stairs to get to the top. Not much space on the top but the views is ok. You can see some seals on the beach in front of the lighthouse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice views from the lighthouse. Be warned though, 250 steep steps up, and 250 steep steps down. Been feeling the afterburn for days. Lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the scenic drive out to experience this bit of rugged New Zealand coastline. Just check conditions before heading out, especially the winds. Very cool spot in the Wairarapa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place. Good walk on about 200 or so stairs. Lighthouse and it’s environment kept clean - thank you to those who have gone before me and kept it clean. Beautiful views of the ocean and if you’re lucky like I was… saw some magnificent seals living their best life sun bathing….. Word of advice - take your time going up the stairs and even take some lunch or snacks to eat when you are up there.
