★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here for my cousin's wedding & I have to say, the location was absolutely beautiful but the restaurant was awful!!! I will never have another meal there ever again!!! First of all, we waited a very long time for the meal & when it finally arrived the steak was OK but lukewarm. There were very few vegetables & they were all cold, the desert was not as bad but certainly not restaurant quality. I think new management is required. If I had paid for the event I would have asked for my money back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just stayed a weekend at the resort and had both a buffet breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant. The staff were exceptional and the food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The ambience of the locality topped things off. Highly recommend a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was really high quality and the service even better. A side of potatoes was a good choice as the mains were mostly just the meat with very little vegetables. Starter chowder was fresh, hot and delicious. Slightly overpriced but appropriate for the location and quality. Would recommend using an Entertainment Voucher to make it an all round perfect evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views overlooking the location and friendly service. Our dinner took 1.5 hours to arrive because there was a new chef, but the staff were very attentive and gave us blankets to sit outside with. It was a still night with a beautiful sunset so we had a lovely time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced and overrated. Stayed one night in December and so disappointed. The reception staff made us feel about as welcome as a fox in a hen house and then when we arrived at the villa we found it was dirty and had not been cleaned properly - dirty marks on the tables and kitchen counter, filthy windows with hand and finger prints everywhere, dirty floor and a toothbrush holder that hadn't ever been cleaned by the look of things. Add to that a bed with no mattress protector, followed by unpleasant bites (not mosquitoes) and the end result was a very unpleasant stay. Food and staff at the restaurant slightly better, but certainly won't be going back nor recommending this place to anyone. A shame given the great location, could be so good, but they've got a very long way to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the steak and the meat was mushy to eat, not very pleasing on the stomach. My husband had the chicken, and that is all that was on the plate chicken and some weird sauce.....when the food finally got to us it was warm, not hot. no value for money, we felt really disappointed. Also requested a window seat for our meal as it was a special occasion, we got stuck next to a wall with a view of a wooden door. did not start on the right foot. Left quickly only there 1 hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a family get together at Castaways. Group of 13 adults and 2 children. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Location and view good. We had the set menu and everyone enjoyed there meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great views!!! Such an epic space for an outdoor wedding. Indoor facilities, catering, accommodation, ample parking. Only thing that could be improved was sound system - only one speaker was working and the sliding door between seating and food was noisy/distracting during speeches.
