★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place was only planning staying 1 night but decided 2. Great owners know all the history of my family and gave me some places to go look at. Very friendly and accommodation was 5 plus stars I wanted to take shower home with me! WI'll definitely be staying again from bonnie and ropey xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice people running the place and lovely surroundings, especially the sheep nearby. The only downside in my experience, which will not be an issue for couples or singles was that as it was a studio and I was staying with my parents, I had to sleep in the second room as them. Overall though it's a great place which I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Owaka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely welcome on arrival by staff. Very clean and tidy place to stay. Highly recommend to anyone who wants exceptional value for money. Young girl at local pub is an asset to the town. Very chatty and very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here with my in-laws. Price was very reasonable for what you get. The rooms were clean and even had a stove top and oven. The hotel manager for helpful and friendly. WiFi was free and the speed was good. There's not much to do in town but this is a decent rest stop for travelling around The Catilins area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and homely room's! Beds are really comfortable and the showers are high pressured. Lovely views from outside the room of the baby lambs! Sarah and Trev are lovely hosts and welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a rather late review, but my husband and I absolutely miss this place! Clean and spacious apartment with a full kitchen and dining table, ample parking space and a shared laundry machine. There was a power outage when we were there and the landlord was super kind to set up cooking facility in his own yard so that guests could at least boil water for a hot cup of tea. Power and lights came back on in a short while, but I still keep the candles he gave to remember his kindness.
