Hi there from the new owners of Centennial Park Kennels, Mike & Lisa Parnwell
We purchased Centennial Park Kennels over two years ago, after seeing the real estate advertisement in the local paper. At the time, we were dairy farmers in Reporoa and had been for the past 11 years. Once viewing the business and surrounding property, we fell in love with the idea of running a Taupo Kennel as our own small family business.
As of February 2016, this Taupo Kennel was ours. The to- do list was endless but we started with a reception makeover and the replacement of all dogs beds. Since then we have gone on to open up more exercise paddocks and add 8 large outdoor kennels to accommodate more dogs. Trees were cut to let in more light and the surrounding gardens were transformed. In May this year we also made a big investment in upgrading the Kennels area.
Centennial Kennels is the best priced kennels for Cats and Dogs in Taupo. Cats from $13 per night, Dogs from $22 per night.
As we are pet owners ourselves we realise the importance of pets to people and we hope to provide a home away from home for your beloved cat or dog.
Come in and meet us and have a look around the kennels and outside paddocks. Should you have any concerns about your cat or dog, you can consult with us and we are happy to medicate your pet with required medicine etc. Dogs/cats on special diets are welcome and also if you would like to provide your own bedding, toy etc we are happy for you to do so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our cat came back " sneezing " for several days after being at their cattery , he couldn't get warm when he came home , so we lit the fire and he spent the next couple of days by the fire as he tried to get over whatever he caught in there . I had mentioned how cold the cattery was when I dropped our cat off and picked him up from the cattery . The ladies were quite defensive and annoyed that I had mentioned it . We won't be taking our cat back there .

Our pets are our treasures & these guys are fantastic. They take awesome care of our fur babies & our kitty loves the cat hotel. They are professional in their care, they get to know their clients & pets, the setting is in a beautiful rural aspect & the facilities are awesome.
