This 5 star luxury boutique lodge can cater for every occasion be it a Corporate Event , an Amazing Wedding, Family Retreat, Vacation or Romantic Weekend Getaway.
The lodge offers 4 spacious Deluxe Suites, 2 Twin Deluxe Suite, 1 Deluxe Queen Bedroom and 1 Garden Villa which combined can sleep a total of 23 guests, each suite has its own unique interior styling, most with en-suite and private lounge areas.
20 guests sleep in luxury beds 3 children on foldaway flexi slat single beds. Children Welcome!
The light and airy kitchen with connected lounges and outdoor conservatory offer a retreat for guests to relax and socialise.
Nestled amongst the trees in is a self contained unique historic villa The Pavilion Suite formally the Taupo Cricket Pavilion.
Conveniently located opposite the Taupo Horse Racing Course and Bruce McLaren Motorsports Park, ample free parking available for trailers or boats and just down the road from the Taupo Golf Club and famed trout fishing waters of the Waitahanui River.

Would be great for many different get aways, family weekends, romantic weekends, weddings and loads more! They had everything that we needed and then some - Their beds are a 10 /10! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 17 friends together for golf at Wairakei over 4 days. It suited our purpose very well, everyone had a great time with the ease of separation to own apartment and the common spaces provided by huge kitchen and dining lounge area. We were looked after well too with smoked trout nibbles on arrival etc It's a few minutes out of town but that actually suited us as it was round the corner from Golf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have a larger group and want a quiet yet comfortable spot - this place is almost impossible to beat. We required to be located out of town and be able to host a group for meals of around 20 people at our accomodation. This place ticks all the boxes. Rooms are super quiet with fantastic bathrooms, kitchen and lounge room facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hope you enjoy Centennial House Taupo our aim is to make your stay here a happy and memorable occasion the accommodation has 8 luxury suites that can sleep a maximum of 21 guests, which makes it a great place for a retreat or family reunion or to celebrate a special occasion.
We also are holding corporate events at the venue which have been very successful. The mature gardens are a hidden treasure simply amazing and were established over 43 years ago with huge Cherry Trees, Rhododendrons and Camellias over 30ft tall, stunning in October - November. We have recently started having wedding here and bookings are coming in fast, there are many natural aisles and a beautiful pond setting amongst the silver birches which is proving very popular with our wedding parties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Centennial House was more than we hoped. Beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and a well equipped kitchen. We were there to celebrate our parents 65th wedding anniversary. We catered a special anniversary lunch and set up the tables like a small wedding reception, the location was perfect for it. The gardens were spectacular. There was room for everyone. We have small children so they played out , we had family cricket games, boules, etc. It’s very hard to find accommodation for 18 that works and is also beautiful. Centennial House was the perfect fit. John and Carolyn were fantastic hosts. Thank you both. We highly recommend centennial house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family of 19 (2 grand parents, 4 children and spouses and 9 grand children) experienced a wonderful Easter weekend at the Centennial House in Taupo. The accommodation was beautifully presented and they were able to supply beds for all. The grounds are beautifully laid out and the grand children had a great Easter egg hunt. Altogether a perfect place for a great time in one location for our large family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family group of 8 stayed at Centennial House during the July school holidays. This beautiful and immaculately clean property is ideal for providing great shared spaces in a huge house with the added bonus of your own suite and sanctuary. John and Caroline are lovely and thoughtful hosts that went the extra mile leaving us lots of goodies to make our stay really special. We had some issues with lights and cold showers on the first night but John was available immediately to fix any problems. As the weather was dismal outside we appreciated and enjoyed being able to relax in this spacious home taking full advantage of its fabulous large kitchen and roaring fire! Highly recommend.
