About Central Kids Kindergarten Otorohanga
Central Kids has been providing high-quality, affordable early childhood education and care since 1951. We offer a child-led, learning through play philosophy that enables children to grow at their own pace – socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively (thinking creatively, problem solving, decision making).
Our team of highly qualified, experienced kaiako (teachers) understand the importance of surrounding your child with passionate, positive influences from an early age, and are truly invested in the future of your tamariki, as well as the wellbeing of your whole whānau.
All of our early childcare centres live and breathe te ao Māori values, to connect our tamariki to our history and heritage. Te Reo is naturally woven into our everyday language and we authentically engage with local iwi and marae to expose our tamariki to customs and culture from an early age. It’s important to us that we celebrate diversity and create a culture of inclusiveness for a more connected community, inside and outside of our early childhood centres.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love Central Kids Otorohanga, the outdoor area is one of my favourite things about the Centre. It's a huge space with lots of grass area the environment is very natural perfect for children to explore.
The Teachers are always very welcoming, informative and show lots of aroha for the Children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Otorohanga central kids is amazing. My son has a speech delay and has had some behavioural/social interaction issues. The staff at Otorohanga central kids worked with me and my son from the get go to help him through certain behaviours and to give him the confidence he needed in a social setting. The outdoor space is huge, the staff are very attentive and always ensure safety and wellbeing are put first with all of the children. All staff have strong communication so parents can be rest assured that their children are in the best hands. My son has come a very long way in the year he has been going to central kids and I can't thank the staff enough for everything they have done for him. They are very welcoming and always have smiles on their faces. Highly recommend.
