★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good free BBQ,toilets they dug out a swimming hole . The odd rude flipping tourist who decides its a great idea to yell at 11pm after parking 4 metres away but tell them to shut up and they generally do pretty soon after .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great wee spot. They have fenced most of the area off so its only the centre space available. Look no complaints considering it's for free swimming was good kids enjoyed themselves.. one thing I can really comment on if you have a tent take large pegs we have 6ml pegs the ground is rocky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for dogs to swim. Water was lovely, cool and clear. Excellent spots on the riverbank with shade for picnics. Good camping facilities. Water quality well signposted and and listed on LAWA website. Will visit again.
