β β β β β Just had another yummy dinner - Chicken Tikka Masala (dairy free) and really yummy veggie Samosas complete with dipping sauces. Looking forward to going back again.

β β β β β It is a good place for a good food but the young staff are taking this place down with a really rude and unprofessional service and seems like they want to go home early so they rush for taking food order and saying that they will close early. I understand that if restaurant is not busy you would like to close early but if you have already a booking the manager should sent staff home early and stay bit longer.
Sad coz this place has a good butter chicken but not sure if we will back.

I was quite dissatisfied with quality of food.
I am usually the person who donβt complain nor make fuss over food. As I do understand difficult constrains while running a restaurant.
I would like to write about my honest experience with this restaurant.
Delivery was on time perfect and well packed
Food was not completely pathetic, but ok.
Chicken biryani was not bad, but the butter vegetable was full of sugar, too sweet for a curry, please donβt spoil the authentic taste of Indian food with additional sweetness. Gobi pakora no taste just the thick batter covered with cauliflower, Onion Kulcha was horrible,
I dint feel like having rest of the food.

If a recipe has no soul. You as a cook must bring soul to the recipe.β
I hope based on my review if you can please improve your style of cooking food that would be amazing,
This is not to hurt or complain anything but my honest feedback as a person who passionate for cooking and enjoys food.

β β β β β Ordered the butter chicken and chicken korma. I have tried these guys a few times to see if they would get any better but unfortunately not. The chicken korma was probably the worst I have had. Giving 2 stars as the butter chicken was okay. Pretty disappointed. Wont be returning again

β β β β β Fantastic service and responsive staff. I am extremely immune compromised after a transplant and the staff and Chefs went out of their way to guide me with safe food choices. Food is always great here but with my new circumstances I appreciated they took me seriously.

β β β β β Chands has always been our family and friends go-to dinner out option. We've lived in Torbay for over 30 years and are loyal customers. The service is always great and the food has been consistently great for years. Love what they have done with the place and love that they have stayed in Torbay. Not expensive and quality Indian dishes. Big menu with plenty to choose from.
