In managed isolation here right now. This place is incredible. Stafford so caring, and accommodating. Everyone is bright, cheerful and helpful. The meals are incredible and they are very helpful with any dietary issues. The rooms are a good size, clean towels, sheets, cleaning items and personal laundry are only a phone call away. I can't rate this place highly enough. Mazz Williams

Wow! Is all I can say. I was so nervous about doing hotel isolation. Needless to say the team have been fantastic! The process was seem less and stress free for the passengers. Worried about food? No need! The serving sizes are so generous and they are great at meeting dietary requirements. I have actually had to ask to stop some of the meals (no need for food to go to waste). The time outside is very generous! I can’t thank the team enough. If you are heading here full of worry like I was I hope this review serves you well. I don’t want to do isolation again lol but if I have to I would like it to be here!

I had the absolute best luck to be placed at the Chateau for MIQ. My room was spacious with plenty of space for my rental workout equipment and room to spare for yoga. The windows open which was wonderful for fresh air. The food was plentiful and delicious, almost a bit TOO plentiful! Breakfast weren't the best, continental breakfasts daily aside from hot options on Wednesdays and Sunday. Lunch and dinner were where the meals shined. I got to choose every day from 3 options for lunch and dinner and I greatly appreciated the variety of food offered. Always an option that was a NZ standard as well as Indian and Asian dishes. I cannot recommend the samosas and chicken tikka masala enough! I had planned to order out frequently but I was so pleased with what was offered food wise I only ordered out twice. You can also order food from the hotel restaurant menu. Anything I requested, tea, milk, laundry bags, etc., was delivered quickly. The outdoor space was fantastic and I was given plenty of time to spent outside. The hotel staff, medical staff, and NZ Defense Force were all friendly, helpful, and made my stay a very pleasant one. This has been my only MIQ experience but I cannot imagine a better one. I would absolutely stay here again. The gardens are gorgeous, it's well located, and the staff is top notch.

This is now a quarantine facility. The room was small but clean. The food left a lot to be desired. Obviously the chef & kitchen staff normally attached to a Hilton had been replaced. You were ok if you liked curry or curry related dishes, probably a reflection of the staff there. The breakfasts were a big disappointment, you were offered a cooked breakfast twice a week & if you were in a cafe it would have been sent back. Runny scrambled egg, greasy hash brown & "toast" that had only seen a toaster for 10 secs. Basically warm bread. You could order better breakfasts at extra cost which were at Hilton prices. Most meals arrived luke warm. I had a room tab for extras & was overcharged, recommend you keep a track of what you order & check the bill. Several meals, though ordered, never arrived, if the time for meals expires, recommend you check with the restaurant. Staff friendly & helpful. Exercise area nice. Most exercise times 7pm-7am, not very user friendly.

I spent 7 days in managed isolation here with my partner and it exceeded expectations. Room: the room was spacious; shower had great pressure; and there was lots of room to move around. The bed was also very good and we were offered regular linen. Food: food was 10/10. You got the option of a hot breakfast twice a week and more food than anyone could need. The dinners were varied and delicious. You also had the usual Hilton menu that you could order from, including beer and wine etc. If you’re really worried, you can just order Uber Eats or from Countdown or New World. I read a previous review criticising some of the food being cold etc, but everyone in this facility is doing their absolute best and if the food was a bit luke warm here and there - it was still amazing. Facilities: 10/10. You cannot complain about the outdoor area. After you return a day 0 negative test, you are allowed out for a good portion of the day in a massive green space. There’s also a well segregated smoking area, which was grand. Staff: everyone was amazing. Christmas bonuses for them for sure. My partner is from Ireland and this was her first time in NZ, and she was blown away about how friendly and accommodating all of the staff were. Summary: Chateau on the Park must be NZ’s best MIQ facility and I’m only sorry that I’m not allowed to stay another 7 days.

Exactly a week later after our stay, my credit card has been repeatedly charged for an extra night. When I noticed it I rung the hotel. I took a while till I got through because their voice system is full of errors, plus the call was randomly dropping. When I managed to talk to desk lady, she took my details and said she will ring back. After whole day of waiting - no call at all. Now trying to get in touch again, but the line is dropping again. Please be cautious.

I was so lucky to stay at the Chateau on The Park for my MIQ time and I can't thank enough the staff, nurses and chefs, you all made our stay so special! The food was absolutely incredible, super generous portions and very diverse, we could chose every day our meals from great options, including vegetarian options. The only thing I'll say is yo ask for a room with a good view, as the hotel has great outdoor views, my fo was very comfortable but I was looking at a wall and I think I missed out

We stayed here for our 10 days Isolation (MIQ). We had great food and a lovely walks around the garden. The bed was nicely arranged when we first arrived and the toilet was sparkly clean. Hotel staff and Nurses are really kind and helpful. Thank you to all the MIQ and Hotel Staff. You all made our isolation less isolating.
