β β β β β Contacted in advance and paid to upgrade our room, wasnβt upgraded although was charged for this. No king bed as promised, I approached them about this and gave them a chance to rectify the issue they told us they maybe we should stay somewhere else. Walked passed other rooms and they all had larger beds. We had to bring my step son due to his mum being in ICU and they said it would be fine the bed is large when I called in advance. No complimentary bubbles as others received. Broken toilet too that constantly ran through the night.

β β β β β Absolutely loved my short stay at the Parque. Beautiful modern rooms, clean spacious and well designed. The beds are extremely comfortable. The key codes for access is a great feature! Perfect location, staff are welcoming and super friendly. Would highly recommend!

β β β β β Modern, private, secure, minimalist, clean & tidy with everything you want in a B&B. Separate kitchen, tea, coffee, toaster, m/wave, iron, ironing board, wardrobe, bathrobes. Walk to town, Merrivale, Hagley Park. Keyless entry. What's not to like?

β β β β β Had such a lovely stay at the Parque. When we rang to leave our bags somewhere as there isnβt a reception on site, they unexpectedly let us check in early as our room was ready and the room was beautiful and very clean. Big enough for two people and nice to have the little kitchenette. Shower pressure was amazing, the amenities were great and for what we paid it was stunning. Only small tiny improvement would be to put a proper curtain over the window as the roller blind let in some light at the edges. Perfect distance to be able to walk into town (about 15-20 minutes) but far enough away that there is no noise problems whatsoever. Would recommend to any friend staying in Christchurch

β β β β β Pros:
-room was tidy and clean
-booking process was simple
Cons:
-the walls are quite thin so you can hear people in other rooms
-we had used a Grab One voucher that included a bottle of bubbly but we never got a bottle despite emailing them about it twice and receiving confirmation that they will put one in.

β β β β β Really nice little hotel. Everything you need. Love that you just have a code to get in.. no keys or swipe cards to remember. Comfy, quiet and clean. A full length mirror in the room would be handy....

β β β β β My partner and I recently spent three nights at The Parque Hotel and we loved every minute of it. The location was great, very central and close to everything we were doing, the service was fantastic with our room being made up each day and the facilities were brilliant. The booking process was extremely easy and checking in/out was no hassle. A very tidy and beautifully presented hotel at reasonable rates and we wouldnβt hesitate to come back here or recommend to anyone visiting Christchurch.
