★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hours on the shop (and on google) indicate closing time is 5.30pm on a Thursday but the doors were closed and lights off at 5.15pm. Very annoying as I could see the person inside tidying up - advertised hours should be updated if he can’t be bothered staying open till 5.30pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have tried to leave work early on several occasions to come and pick up my parcel only to find they have closed early - on one occasion they were closed at 5.05pm and were meant to be open till 5.30pm - and I see I am not the only person who finds this frustrating. Please update your opening hours to hours when you are actually opening so customers can plan accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using Chatsworth Stationary for years as I live local. Always had fantastic service.
If you have been going there for years l would assume you'd say hi and have a chat and have gotten to know Annette and John.
That being the case, you would know that all isn't quite as it seems.
A bit of respect, compassion and patience is top of the list when going there.
If you are someone who only passes through now and then..... just think: he is someone's husband, someone's dad, someone's granddad - would you not want your own family treated with kindness??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could rank less stars i definitely would. The old guy working there is the slowest and dumbest human being I have even encountered. Who knew checking the shipping price to send a pair of shoes to the US would take 40 mins... The guy was rude when I told him I did not want to pay for things I did no need and tried to tape up my shoe box for no reason. I told him i want my shoes back and it took him 10 mins of me telling him to give them back as I wanted to leave. Idiot! Don't waste you're time, go to lower/upper hutt to post. Trust me, its painful, slow and awkward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Closing early can not be in keeping with the requirements of a Post Shop. For a shop that has a huge number of locals who can only get there on the way home from work, for it to be closing earlier than the advertised hours is a gross disservice.
Sorry, I have to agree with another poster: if it's only the old guy there and there are more than two customers in the shop, I keep walking. Pedantry doesn't start to explain his work ethic.
