★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place at first sight. Was looking for food business and marketing books. Well, discovered more than expected. Planned to spend 19 min, send up 45 min. Not complaining but was pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality of the books. Will definitely return for more books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a little surprise on the way to Dunedin from Christchurch! Spontaneously recommended by a friend I quickly stopped here and found so many books and movies I wanted to get! I managed to grab 3 (2 books + 1 dvd) for $5!!! Ladies were so lovely they gave me some cookies too : ) definitely would go back when I'm going back to Chirstchurch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name is accurate--it's literally a barn full of books, which is great, but tough to find anything. Not a lot of newer titles, some sci-fi, iffy classics (as the categories I check most often). Pricing is very reasonable, but in general I think you're better off just going to one of the many second-hand book festivals and sales.
